M1 Carbine Silhouette Matches will use the pistol caliber lever action targets and distances (Chickens 40yd, Pigs 50yd, Turkeys 75yd, Rams 100yd. Shooters will have 15 shots at 10 targets of each animal. Rifles must be vintage M1 Carbines or replicas. These will be 60 shot matches at 40 targets with sight in prior to start of match. CMP rules require that the carbine be in "as issued by the U.S. Armed Forces" condition with standard stock and sights. Trigger pull may not be less than 4 1/2 pounds. No increased weight in the carbine is allowed. Only standard issue 15 round magazines are allowed.
