Lever Action Rifle Caliber State Championship (9:00am)

$30Competition Open: Open to all competitors who are members of the NRA and the Idaho State Rifle and Pistol Association (or a member of an affiliated Western State Association; Colorado, Montana, Oregon, New Mexico, Wyoming, Utah or Washington). Idaho State Rifle and Pistol Association membership is $15.00. Applications will be available for on-site membership. Anyone not having a 2017 NRA Silhouette Classification Book will be required to buy a book at the match ($13.00).
Rules: 2017 NRA Cowboy Lever Action Rifle Silhouette rules will apply.
Registration Fees: $30.00
Entry Close Date: April 21, 2017. All competitors must pre-register to participate.
May 6: Competitor’s meeting and practice for Center Fire Cowboy Lever Action Rifle 9:00 – 10 am, first relay at 10:15am. 12:00 – 12:30 lunch break.
Course of Fire: One 60 round match.
Classification: Standard NRA Silhouette Classification will be used. All rifles must meet the NRA standards for each discipline.
Safety: All safety rules will be enforced. NRA rules apply. Eye and ear protection must be worn on the firing line. Open chamber indicators must be used as well.
500 YD RANGE IS NOW OPEN:
Beginning Sunday May 28, the 500 yard range will be open to the public from 10:00 – 6:00 pm on the 4th Sunday each month. Shooters must use hollow point, soft point or cast lead bullets only. No FMJ, Steel Jackets or Tracers allowed. Target distances are 200, 300, 385 and 500 meters.
